Coi Leray is kicking off the New Year with a bang! The singer and rapper took to Instagram on January 1 to share exciting news—she’s expecting her first child with fellow artist Trippie Redd.

“I’m a rock star mommy. We ready for 2025 ,” Coi captioned a series of photos, including a few snaps of Trippie cradling her baby bump.

The announcement has fans buzzing, with many saying that the news wasn’t on their “2025 Bingo card.”

Coi Leray and Trippie Redd, who initially dated in 2019, appear to be giving love another chance. Their reunion was first hinted at during New York Fashion Week last September, where Trippie Redd hinted at their relationship’s comeback.

When asked by TMZ about reconnecting with Coi, the “Miss The Rage” rapper didn’t hold back. “You know that’s what I did,” he said with a grin, admitting he reached out to her directly. “We were on the low for a little while,” he added. “We just been talking. That’s my boo.”

This marks the first child for both Coi and Trippie. However, Trippie’s journey to fatherhood hasn’t been without its twists. Late last year, the rapper canceled his Take Me Away Tour, citing the arrival of a baby boy. But in a surprising turn of events, Trippie revealed during a vlog with DDG on YouTube that the child wasn’t his.

“Bruh, I got a DNA test. I don’t even got a kid,” Trippie said, admitting he had initially assumed paternity. “I swear, bro. I thought I did, and then I told the world that. Like, ahead of time, I never got no DNA test. And I ended up getting a DNA test, and it wasn’t my kid.”
