Initially, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes appeared to keep their relationship under wraps, with many observing the coincidental nature of their budding romance.
Having grown closer during their time on Celebrity Big Brother, the Dance Moms alum and the Love Island star continuously downplayed their bond as mere friendship. However, they have now confirmed that their relationship has blossomed into something more profound.
“It’s no longer just friendship,” JoJo revealed to The Guardian in an interview published on June 2. “Our connection has beautifully evolved, and I’m completely smitten with him, just as he is with me.”
Chris, on the other hand, admits they have already envisioned their future together.
“I’d love to marry her,” he confessed to The Sun‘s Fabulous. “I often imagine scenarios of our wedding day, complete with a traditional English ceremony and her in a stunning wedding gown. We both dream of having children and come from loving families. My mum adores her. She’s my best friend, and I cherish the fact that we can enjoy each other’s company doing absolutely nothing and still have the best time. That means everything to me.”
By the following summer, the couple celebrated one year together.
