D’Lila Star and Jessie James Combs found a beautiful way to honor their late mother, Kim Porter. The twins recreated one of Porter’s iconic poolside photos, wearing matching black and pink bikinis while lying side by side in front of an infinity pool in Anguilla.

In the recreated shot, fans could spot the homage to the exact same pose Porter struck at the same resort years ago, just in a different swimsuit.

“Like mother like daughters. 10 years later can you tell the difference? #foreverkp,” the twins captioned the post.

The comments quickly filled with praise for their resilience, spirit, and admiration for their mother.

Kimmora Lee Simmons wrote, “Oh wow! Look at you babies! I love you girls!”

Another Instagram user commented,”She would be SO PROUD of yall! Yall DEFINITELY her TWINs.”

A third wrote a touching tribute, in a sense, to Porter and the girls commenting, “Her legacy lives on through her two beautiful twin daughters who honor her with love and in the best way possible. She left a mark in the world in her amazing children. You have to know, as I myself am a mother and a part of your life I know you’re making her so incredibly happy and proud. I love you pretty girls.”

Kim Porter passed away on November 15, 2018, at the age of 47 due to lobar pneumonia. She was reportedly discovered unresponsive at her home in Toluca Lake, California, and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later ruled her death natural following an autopsy and investigation.

Porter shared three children with Sean “Diddy” Combs, Christian Combs, 27, and the twins, 18. She also shared her eldest son Quincy, 34, with R&B singer Al B. Sure.

Porter’s children always find moments to share special tributes to their mother. Last Mother’s Day, the twins took to Instagram, sharing a pregnancy photo of their mother. The duo began their post, ““Dear mommy, You were the best mommy anyone could’ve ever had and we are so blessed that god chose you to be our mommy,”

They concluded, “We miss you so very much every single day and we wish you could be here with us today.”

Their brother Christian followed up with his own post, “Happy mother’s Day Mommy !!!! I love you so much words can’t express how much I wish I could call you right now!! Whenever I’m down i know that it’s you picking me up right when I need it !! I Love you, wish I could hug you, kiss you and just talk to you !! I love you so much and I know that you are with me still watching over every step I take and every choice I make I love you mommy!!!! Happy Mother’s Day!”

Do you think they nailed their tribute pic? We definitely do!
