Justin Bieber’s fans are worried that he’s going down a similar path as Kanye West. West’s social media use has often sparked controversy, and some of Bieber’s recent posts have caused concern among fans. A number of people have expressed the belief that Bieber is behaving in a way that is reminiscent of West.

In recent years, West has caused controversy over his support of Sean “Diddy” Combs, his self-identification as a Nazi, and his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Right now, Bieber is dealing with rumors of marital strife and concerns over his frequent social media posts. Some of his fans have begun to compare his behavior to West’s.

“JB is becoming Kanye,” reads one Reddit post.

“Justin Bieber is one divorce away from becoming Ye,” reads another.

Many people still feel Bieber’s behavior is still far away from West’s, particularly with regard to West’s posts in support of Nazism. A number of people defended his behavior.

“I feel sorry for him,” one person wrote. “He’s been harassed all his life.”

Justin Bieber spoke about meeting Kanye West 

A decade ago, Bieber and West had a friendly relationship. Bieber said he looked up to the rapper.

“Kanye’s the best,” he told Elle in 2015. “He just talks. For so long. And it’s so dope. Even when it sounds crazy, I know that I’m listening to how he feels because he always puts things into such a different perspective.”

Recently, their relationship ended because of West’s treatment of Hailey Bieber. In 2022, Hailey defended Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson after she called out West’s “White Lives Matter” shirts. West then posted about “nose job Hailey Baldloose.” He also told Bieber to “get your girl before I get mad. You spose to be my friend right.”

Sources told TMZ that Bieber felt West had gone too far with his posts and cut ties with him. 

He recently addressed fans expressing their concern 

Bieber’s fans have made their concern for him clear in the comments of his Instagram posts. After weeks of comments, Bieber addressed his fans.

“People keep telling me to heal,” he wrote in a post. “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already? I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues.”

He added that he felt that attempts to heal himself only led to more disappointment. He said that he felt he felt exhausted by thinking about himself all the time.

“I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry,” Bieber continued. “The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am. Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others because, honestly, I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately, aren’t you?”
