In a heartfelt tribute, Billy Crystal recently gathered an impressive array of stars to honor the legacy of Rob Reiner. Among the familiar faces joining him were Kathy Bates of Misery fame, Kevin Pollack from A Few Good Men, and actors Kiefer Sutherland and Demi Moore. The stage also welcomed The Sure Thing‘s Daphne Zuniga and John Cusack, alongside Annette Bening from The American President. Adding a touch of humor, Michael McKean and Christopher Guest, known for their roles in This Is Spinal Tap, were also present.

The gathering wouldn’t have been complete without Meg Ryan, who starred with Billy in When Harry Met Sally. Reuniting from The Princess Bride were cast members Carol Kane, Mandy Patinkin, Carey Elwes, and Fred Savage, adding to the evening’s nostalgia.

Reflecting on the profound loss, Billy Crystal shared poignant words: “Their loss is immeasurable, and to the millions who have enjoyed his films all these years, I want you to know—here and around the world—how many times Rob told me that it meant everything to him. That his work meant something to you and for us who had the privilege of working with and knowing him and loving him, all we can say is, Buddy, what fun we had storming the castle.”
