Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is cherishing every precious moment of motherhood with her “miracle” baby.
Taking to Instagram this week, the new mom gave fans a glimpse into her journey, sharing a video of her and fiancé Wayne Deuce Polk bonding with their newborn.
In the clip, the couple engages in skin-to-skin contact with their baby, a practice encouraged for premature infants.
“A mother’s love knows no bounds. From the NICU to endless cuddles, every note is a promise, every melody a hug. #NICUMiracle #momentsthatmatter,” Cori captioned the post.
Baby Polk made her arrival earlier this month, three months ahead of schedule.
Cori first announced her birth on March 1, sharing a black-and-white photo of her daughter’s tiny foot.
She wrote, “The princess arrived at 6 months. I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far #nicubaby #25weeks.”
In a now-expired Instagram Stories post, Cori revealed she underwent a successful C-section after experiencing a terrifying health complication. She was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, a life-threatening pregnancy condition related to preeclampsia that affects the blood and liver.
“Doctors told me thank you for coming and if I would’ve waited a few more days it would’ve been really bad,” she shared. “Ladies, please listen to your bodies and don’t believe everything you see on TikTok.”
This isn’t the first major health challenge Cori has faced recently. In January, she suffered a stroke, a deeply personal experience she shared in the docuseries Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story.
With the arrival of their daughter, Broadus and Polk add to Snoop Dogg’s growing family of grandchildren. Their little one joins Zion Kalvin Broadus (10), Elleven Love Broadus (6), Cordoba Journey Broadus (5), Kai Love Broadus (who passed away 10 days after birth in 2019), Sky Love Broadus (4), Chateau Broadus (3), and Symphony Sol Broadus (1).
