Dane Bowers recently marked a significant personal milestone by celebrating the first anniversary with his girlfriend Nicola, who bears a striking resemblance to his former partner, Laura Anderson. The ex-Another Level singer, now 45, took to Instagram this past weekend to publicly honor their relationship, sharing his joy with his followers.

While details about Nicola remain somewhat elusive, her Instagram handle hints she might be 34 years old. The couple’s enduring bond has sparked interest, especially given Nicola’s uncanny resemblance to Dane’s previous flame, Laura Anderson, known for her stint on Love Island. Dane and Laura had a whirlwind relationship, initially getting together in 2017 and rekindling their romance in 2021, which even saw Laura relocate to Dubai for a time to be with him. However, they ended their relationship in September 2022.

Nicole’s surname and age are unknown, but if her username points to her date of birth that would make her 34 years old.

Following their split in September 2022, Laura packed up her belongings and moved out of the Dubai home she shared with Dane.

Taking to her Instagram Stories at the time, Laura announced her split from Dane to her fans.

She wrote: ‘Just to let all my beautiful support on here know that unfortunately Dane and I have decided to separate. Thank you all for your continued support.

‘Sadly we’re just not right for each other but I do wish him nothing but love.

‘I will be moving back to the UK as soon as I can. Roll on the rest of 2022, lets make it count.’ 

The reality TV star first crossed paths with the Out of Your Mind hitmaker at a party but split from him six months after getting together when she discovered he had been seeing someone else.

She said: ‘We weren’t in a relationship at that point, and we never said we were exclusive, but I was disappointed, so I confronted him and ended it.’

Following the initial split, Laura signed up to appear on the fourth series of ITV2’s hit reality dating show Love Island and eventually placed runner-up alongside Paul Knops behind winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer.

However Laura is said to have called the relationship with Paul off when she heard reports that he had a secret girlfriend.  

She rekindled her relationship with Dane three years later and despite saying she could never trust him again, packed up and moved to Dubai to be with him and started fertility treatment in the hopes they could conceive. 

Following her split from Dane in 2022, Laura went on to begin dating former Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy after the pair met on Celebs Go Dating. 

Their relationship was on-again-off-again but the pair welcomed their daughter Bonnie, two, in September 2023. They split for good while Laura was pregnant with Bonnie. 

The Love Island star, 36, who found fame on the hit ITV dating show in 2018, has now found love with Scottish centre-back Clark Robertson, 32, and revealed last month how she hopes to have ‘another baby’. 

Laura and Clark, who plays for Premiership club Dundee, went public with their relationship last October and have been going from strength-to-strength 

The TV personality, who was wearing a huge dazzling ring on her engagement ring, opened up to Daily Mail at the Pride of Britain awards as she gushed, ‘I am so happy with family life’. 

She confirmed: ‘Who knows what next for me, maybe another baby and you know what I need to change my ring on my hands, this isn’t an engagement ring, but I am happy with family life. 

‘We went to Paris recently and everyone was messaging me like, “are you going to get engaged”, and then we ended up witnessing a proposal but it wasn’t mine. 

‘But when it’s meant to be, maybe somewhere other than the city of love though.’
