Danniella Westbrook looked stunning as she celebrated her 49th birthday on Saturday.
The actress took to Instagram to share a snap of herself looking very glamorous before spending time with her friends in the north of England.
Former EastEnders star Danniella was in good spirits but shared how just days earlier she’d slumped into a deep depression.

She wrote on the social media site: ‘Funny how a picture can make everyone assume life’s ok… Two days before this I wanted my life to end.
‘Thank goodness for my son and his Mrs, Chad and my friends I call my family xx without you all this picture wouldn’t of happened at all.
‘Sometimes the people who should be the closest to us aren’t they are the ones who cause you the most pain, lie to you and actually don’t even like you.

‘True what they say you can choose your friends but not your family. And that’s a b**ody blessing a family can look perfect from the outside perfect house perfect smiles but it’s just a life filter.
‘A family doesn’t lie and talk and do things behind your back then pretend you’re the problem for questioning it.
‘It’s ok not to be perfect and it’s ok to not like people. Just be real because people’s actions can cause someone pain self loathing. And for them to not want to wake up.

It comes after former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Danniella sparked concern on last week as she shared then deleted a bizarre tweet.

Danniella also appeared to take a swipe at her jailbird ex fiancé David over on Instagram, in which she alluded that it was ‘Too little too late’ for him to realise how ‘amazing’ she was.
Daniella’s earlier tweet left her followers alarmed, with one concern fan writing: ‘everything alright danniella’, with another remarking they were ‘confused’.
However, as more fans responded, Danniella was quick to delete the message and made no further reference to it on the platform.
But the star was quick to send a thinly-veiled message to her former fiancé over on Instagram, in which she alluded to the end of their romance.
Danniella shared a quote which read: ‘He will regret the day he hurt her, but by then she will be with the guy who knew she was amazing all along.’

The actress was clearly in a reflective mood as she went on to share a number of inspirational quotes.
In August, it was revealed that Danniella split from her jailbird fiancé David after six years together.
She is said to be ‘devastated’ by the breakup but has reasoned that it is the best decision for herself and her career.
A spokesperson confirmed to the Mirror: ‘We can confirm that Danniella has indeed split up with her partner.
‘The decision hasn’t come lightly and it is a decision that she feels is best for her and her career at this moment in time.
Danniella’s ex ‘toyboy’ David – who has never been pictured – is serving time in prison for counterfeit goods and engaging in a ‘fight with someone’, by her own admission.
