Sir David Beckham had fans laughing once again as he reenacted his now-famous “be honest” moment from his Netflix documentary. This time, he questioned whether his wife, Victoria, was truly responsible for decorating their Christmas tree.

Victoria, 51, took to Instagram on Sunday to share that she had taken it upon herself to give their £31.5 million London home a festive transformation, aiming to delight her husband, 50.

She told her followers, “The tree is ready. Feeling like an overachiever, I must admit. It’s a big tree. We’ve never been so prepared for Christmas. All set for David’s…”

As she opened the door, David asked her, “Be honest. Did you really decorate that tree?”

Victoria assured him she did, to which David responded, “A very nice surprise, Mrs. Claus.”

The funny exchange was a recreation of the moment from his documentary, where David interjected in the middle of his wife’s interview, during which she was seen ‘trying to relate to the working class’.

Victoria claimed she was from a ‘working class’ family before David popped his head around the door and told her to ‘be honest’.

The fashion designer then revealed her father drove her to school in a Rolls-Royce.

Earlier in the day, Victoria revealed her huge tree by the bay window in their living room as well as her lilac themed baubles.

Victoria’s post on Instagram comes after David received a knighthood from King Charles last month.

Victoria said she had ‘never felt prouder’ of her husband, 50, and shared a snap of Sir David getting knighted at Windsor Castle for his services to sport and charity.

Sharing several sweet snaps of the couple, she gushed: ‘David, from the moment I met you 28 years ago, you’ve always been so proud to represent your country.

‘Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.

‘You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father.

‘I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx’.

After receiving his knighthood, David and his family visited Cliveden House and Spa in Berkshire to celebrate his success.

The five-star hotel and spa, situated on 376 acres of National Trust grounds, welcomed the family for an afternoon of wining and dining, where they posed for a family snap in the stately home.

After 25 trophies, 115 England caps, five international tournaments and countless priceless goals, David added to his accolades when he received the one medal that famously eluded him during a trophy-laden 21-year career and beyond.

The King and his new knight, who have struck up a heartwarming friendship in recent years over their shared love of gardening and bees, smiled, shook hands and chatted briefly during the moving investiture ceremony.

Speaking afterwards, Sir David admitted he had been emotional as he received his greatest honour – and revealed that Charles had complimented him on the suit Victoria had designed and made for him as a gift.

‘I’ve been very obviously lucky in my career to have won what I’ve won and done what I’ve done, but to receive an honour like this, of a knight, is beyond anything that I ever thought that I would receive’, he said.
