David Beckham has poked fun at his wife Victoria in a cheeky clip to celebrate her birthday. 

The Spice Girl turned 51 years old on Thursday and her husband, 49, made sure to share a cheeky clip of her in tribute. 

Taking to his Instagram Stories, David shared a sneaky video of Victoria where she could be seen posing for selfies during a train ride. 

Sporting a yellow turtle neck sweater, Victoria swished he brunette hair and pouted as she tried to get the perfect shot. 

David captioned the clip: ‘@victoriabeckham Always searching for the perfect angle [laughing face emoji].’ 

Elsewhere on Thursday David shared loved-up snaps of he and Victoria from when they were younger, one of them kissing and embracing in a swimming pool and another hugging as they posed on a boat – in a sweet birthday post. 

But he also shared a snap of Victoria as a young child, where she was seen sitting with a pink sweet-covered birthday cake sporting long brown hair with a blunt fringe.  

‘Happy Birthday to the most amazing Wife, Mummy & Best Friend that we could all wish for,’ he wrote. 

‘Have the most perfect day because you deserve to and we love you so much @victoriabeckham.’

David also shared a family photo, which seemed to be taken by him, of Victoria with their children Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.  

Commenting on the post, Victoria and David’s youngest son Cruz said: ‘I love you so much mum x from day 1 you have showed us unconditional love and haven’t stopped since ❤️.’ 

He also shared a throwback snap with his mum from when he was a baby on his Instagram Stories, as he wrote: ‘Happy birthday to the most inspirational mum, you have done everything for us ❤️.’

David later took to his Instagram Stories to share a collection of snaps for Victoria’s birthday, including one of her and their daughter Harper.

Writing as though the post was from Harper, he said: ‘Happy birthday mummy, we love you soooooo much.’ 

Another snap shared by David was of Victoria holding Harper as a baby, surrounded by their three sons. ‘Birthday mummy, special mummy,’ he wrote. 

Victoria’s fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton also showed her some birthday love as she shared a snap of the pair with Melanie C from her 50th birthday bash last year. 

‘Sending birthday kisses my gorgeous friend, @victoriabeckham! Have the best day,’ she wrote, also sharing a younger snap of her and Posh Spice from their girl band days. 

David’s cheeky joke came just a week after he mocked Victoria for her muted reaction to Inter Miami’s thrilling comeback win in the Concacaf Champions Cup. 

Victoria took up a place alongside her husband for their quarter-final second leg against LA FC – but while David, their second-eldest son Romeo, 22, and club officials headed and kicked every ball from the sidelines, Victoria was unmoved as she witnessed the spectacle. 

This drew taunting from Romeo, who posted on Instagram: ‘Come on Mum join in’ followed by a laughing emoji. 

Victoria responded with a message of her own, joking: ‘Still trying to figure out the rules!’

Finally, David wrote: ‘And they say my wife’s not into football. How dare they. 

‘Emotions were running high in the stadium last night for most of us. I love you [Victoria Beckham] I know you love it really, always by my side.’
