While Davido’s second daughter, Hailey, was in attendance, Imade was not, sparking speculation online. Some social media users accused Sophia of restricting Imade’s interaction with her father’s family.

Responding via Instagram on Wednesday, Sophia said she woke up to a barrage of attacks directed at her and her daughter following the wedding. She emphasized that Imade is a happy and healthy child, and anyone who has seen her can confirm this.

Sophia added that she has been Imade’s primary caregiver for the past five years, covering all her expenses except school fees, which her paternal grandparents have been paying for the last three years. She also revealed that Davido has not contributed child support, yet their daughter’s needs are fully met.

She assured fans that she has always encouraged a good relationship between Imade and her father, never denying him access. Sophia noted that she prioritizes Imade’s safety and ensures that any meetings with Davido are well-structured.
