Nigerian comedian, DeeOne has completed the Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon.

It would be recalled that DeeOne commenced his stand-up comedy marathon on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Pallazzo Lagos in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

DeeOne completes Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy marathon

The event, which commenced on October 2, 2025, finally came to a conclusion on October 4, 2025.

Notably, the longest stand-up comedy marathon remained at 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds, held by Benny Elbows from the United States of America (USA).

However, there is no official announcement yet regarding the confirmation of DeeOne holding the new record.

It’s worth noting that the completion of DeeOne’s longest stand-up comedy marathon followed after Hilda Baci’s jollof cook-off.

As previously reported by GistReel, Hilda Baci’s jollof cook-off was held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, which had a 20,000 audience, also featured notable figures including Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele who joined Hilda Baci during the preparation alongside popular clergyman, Bolaju Idowu in attendance.

Additionally, Hilda Baci shared insights into the ingredients used during the preparation, which included 4,000 kg of basmati rice, 164 kg of fresh goat meat, 220 kg of Gino Asun, Peppered Chicken Cubes, and 600 kg of her signature jollof pepper mix.
