Desiigner, real name Sidney Royel Selby III , is a new dad!

The “Panda” rapper announced in an Instagram post on Monday that he and his girlfriend, Joyce Bryant have welcomed a baby boy.

“He’s here,” they simply captioned a photo of the baby’s hands and head full of hair.

Fans quickly flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages:

“With all you have been through, you deserve this wonderful gift. I hope for nothing but happiness and joy as you start this new beautiful and wonderful chapter in your life.”

“Awww, God bless him…. Congratulations on y’all’s bundle of joy.”

“Congratulations, he has talent in his cradle, received from his father.”

“Congratulations brother !! New beginnings So happy for you! You’re going to be an amazing father you deserve this,” another said.

Desiigner and Joyce first revealed their pregnancy last November in a video showing them celebrating a gender reveal with family and friends.

In the video, the couple are seen holding wine glasses which they use to cut into a cake. The sweet reats revealed bright blue layers inside, confirming they were expecting a boy. The caption read, “Supporters Guess What…”, encouraging fans to join in their joy.

Joyce also marked the special occasion with a maternity photoshoot, captioning her post, “He’s tough in the streets, but with me, he’s so soft. I have TWO KINGS. Thank You, God.”

Desiigner’s journey has had ups and downs. On November 1, 2022, he went on Instagram Live to say he was “done rapping” following the passing of Migos rapper Takeoff. However, two months later, he returned to music, releasing the single “My Brodie” on November 26.

His latest single, “Shyio,” released on September 6, 2024, blends Afrobeats rhythms with infectious melodies.
