The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has unveiled the results for the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates, marking the First Series of 2026.
Announced via WAEC’s official X account on Friday, March 27, the council assured that candidates would be able to retrieve their results within the next 12 hours.
This swift release is part of WAEC’s ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery by leveraging technology and streamlining examination processes.
In their statement, WAEC expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their cooperation, which facilitated the timely release of these results. The council reiterated its dedication to providing efficient and reliable examination services.
“The result of CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026–First Series, has been released. Candidates can access their results within the next 12 hours. Our thanks to all stakeholders for cooperating with us to achieve this feat,” the statement read.
The examination body expressed appreciation to all stakeholders who collaborated in ensuring a smooth conduct of the examinations, describing their cooperation as instrumental to the success of the process.
Candidates are advised to check the official WAEC portal to access their results as soon as they are available.
