Dan Fogelman’s acclaimed post-apocalyptic series, Paradise, made a comeback on Hulu with its second season in February, eagerly addressing the cliffhangers of its debut season while unveiling a fresh set of characters emerging from beyond the confines of the bunker.
In the inaugural season, viewers were captivated by Secret Service Agent Xavier Collins, portrayed by Sterling K. Brown, as he embarked on a quest to unravel the mystery behind President Cal Bradford’s murder, a role undertaken by James Marsden. Collins also grappled with proving his own innocence. The season’s dramatic conclusion exposed Bradford’s true killer and saw Collins venture out of the bunker in search of his wife, Teri, and others who might have survived the apocalyptic event. The stellar performances by Brown, Marsden, and Julianne Nicholson, who played Samantha “Sinatra” Redmond, garnered Emmy nominations, while the series itself received a nod for Outstanding Drama.
The second season takes audiences back to the fateful day of the catastrophe, introducing Annie Clay, a character brought to life by Shailene Woodley, who works as a tour guide at Graceland in Memphis.
With the release of the seventh episode today, fans of Paradise Season 2 might be wondering how much more of the story is left to unfold.
