Featuring interviews with Moriah’s closest friends and family, the new Netflix doc from Emmy Award–winner Marina Zenovich dives into how her blossoming career was cut short by her tragic murder.

3. Comedy heavyweights Jack Black and Paul Rudd team up in Anaconda, a self-referential sequel to the 1997 thriller starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight. Rudd and Black star in the 2025 film as two friends who lead a film crew into the Amazon rainforest to film a remake of the movie they know and love. But their trip takes a turn when they actually come across the deadly animal. 4. The Netflix documentary series dives into former NBA star Lamar Odom’s fall from grace, chronicling his marriage to Khloe Kardashian and his near-fatal drug addiction. The doc features candid input from Kardashian herself as she weighs in with her own perspective of how his struggle with addiction impacted their life together. 5. It’s the movie that started it all. Zoo animals Marty, Alex and Melman lived cushy lives in the New York City zoo they were raised in, but these zany characters are in for the shock of a lifetime when they end up in the jungles of Madagascar, where they have to learn how to survive in the wild for the very first time. The hit film (which premiered in theaters over 20 years ago!) spawned a franchise, including two sequels, spinoff series and more. Starring Chris Rock, Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer.

6. Naomie Harris stars as Officer Alicia West, a former army vet who joins the New Orleans Police Department after returning to her stomping grounds. But this officer’s loyalties get tested after she accidentally captures her colleagues committing a murder on tape, forcing her to go on the run. Tyrese Gibson, Frank Grillo and Mike Colter all star in this 2019 drama.

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is the sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, where the penguins—Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private—and the chimpanzees Mason and Phil now leave Africa for Monte Carlo in their modified airplane. When they don’t return, Alex the lion convinces his friends Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippopotamus that they should go find them and return to their home at the Central Park Zoo.

8. Steve Carell returns to voice Gru in this epic sequel to Minions – the spin-off prequel to the Despicable Me movies. In this 2022 animated comedy, 12-year-old Gru enlists the yellow group to help him prove his despicableness after he is dismissed by his supervillain idols. The movie is directed by Kyle Balda from a script by Matthew Fogel, and has a runtime of 87 minutes.

10. Alex the lion and his animal friends manage to successfully escape from Madagascar after the penguins reassemble a plane. While the animals aimed to get back to New York City, the plane crashes in Africa, leaving them stranded with other animals of their kind. But they quickly realize they may be in over their heads.
