The cast of The Love Boat will be reuniting on a week-long celebration cruise with many of the stars joining in the occasion for the first time.

The new cruise is set to set sail in November and will embark on a seven-day journey through the Caribbean, departing from Galveston, Texas and stopping in Honduras and Mexico.

This time, Lauren Tewes and Charo will be a part of the romance-themed cruise inspired by the hit 1970s sitcom and reuniting with their former co-stars, according to People.

Fred Grandy, Bernie Kopell, Ted Lange and Jill Whelan will also be there for Princess Cruises’ iconic Love Boat Celebration at Sea.

The romance-themed cruise featuring the original cast of the show first set sail in 2022 and returned for the second time last summer.

This comes shortly after Whelan, who famously portrayed Vicki Stubing on The Love Boat, opened up about her real-life love story earlier this year.

Tewes, 71, previously played cruise director Julie McCoy for seven seasons on the sitcom, eventually departing from the show due to her public struggle with addiction and leading to her character being written off.

Now sober, she will be joining her castmates for this year’s reunion.

During last year’s cruise, her former co-star Grandy, 76, told the outlet that the actress, now sober, ‘has recovered magnificently’ and ‘even though she is not here, she is as much a part of the family as anybody else up on this stage.’

During the Behind the Scenes Stories panel, Whelan also chimed in and said Tewes is ‘a sister to all of us.’

‘She’s just a very genuine, sweet human being, and by the way, a spectacular actress,’ she said.

‘I mean, I even look back at The Love Boat episodes and I just marvel at her and her ability to move so effortlessly between doing a dramatic scene and comedy. But she is one of our favorite people and we adore her.’

Whelan also recently revealed that she had continued to keep in touch with Tewes over the years and had been trying to convince her to join them for the reunion cruise this year.

‘She was open to it,’ Whelan told the outlet. ‘I told her everybody loves her so much and everybody wants to tell her how much they love her. I think it would be great for her.’

The Spanish actress, who showed off her musical talent and dance moves on the show, will also be performing during the live performances on the cruise.

Charo and Tewes will join the reunion cruise for the first time since its launch three years ago.

They will also be participating in the iconic sailaway party, meet-and-greet opportunities for the show’s fans, Q&As with the cast and a symbolic renewal of vows ceremony.

The show’s iconic cast had previously reunited for a Princess Cruises event in 2014, when the cruise line launched its new ship, the Regal Princess.

All six main cast members of the ensemble, Kopell, Grandy, Lange, Whelan, Tewes, and MacLeod (Captain Stubing) — who died in 2021 — gathered in Fort Lauderdale dressed in their old work uniforms.
