The Disney Channel community is grieving the loss of one of its familiar faces.
Carla Jeffery, known to fans for her role in Disney’s original Zombies movie trilogy and appearances on Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up, has died at 33. Her management team, led by Carla Alexander, confirmed the news on Sept. 2.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffrey,” Alexander said in a statement, adding that the actress “passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old.”
Reflecting on Jeffery’s life and career, the statement continued, “For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room.”

No cause of death has been disclosed.
The iCarly actress began her career at 12 years old, costarring with Mo’Nique in her first major role in Phat Girlz, in which Jeffrey played the younger version of the star’s character.
“As Bree in Disney’s hit Zombies franchise, Carla shared her joy, humor and bright spirit with audiences around the world,” Alexander continued. “Our hearts are with Carla’s family and loved ones during this devastating time.”
