Demigods, grab your armor, Percy Jackson and the Olympians on its way back for season two! To get fans even more excited for the new season, Disney+ has just dropped a fresh batch of character posters and you will definitely want one!

Returning favorites Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase), and Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood) are all back in action, joined by newcomer Daniel Diemer, who steps into the role of Tyson, Percy’s half-brother and a lovable cyclops straight out of Greek legend.

Also featured on the new posters are Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, setting the stage for another adventure at Camp Half-Blood.

According to Disney+, the new season, based on Rick Riordan’s second novel The Sea of Monsters, finds Percy returning to camp one year later only to discover that nothing is the same. Below, check out an official summary of the action to come from JustJaredJr.com.

Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.

If that synopsis isn’t enough for fans, the streaming service also slipped a few blink-and-you-miss-it clips from the new season into its “Coming This Year” teaser and yes, there’s golden armor, massive battles, and a whole lot of Camp Half-Blood chaos.

Percy dives, literally, into the Sea of Monsters to uncover truths that will test his courage and reshape his destiny. Twelve new cast members are joining the series, though details remain tightly under wraps. Expect gods, monsters, and more than a few surprises as Riordan’s mythology-packed world expands even further.

Season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians hits Disney+ on December 10, so there’s still time to rewatch the first season and get reacquainted with the demigods who started it all.
