A Medical doctor at Bindura District, Dr Tonderai Chiwawa has triggered conversations online after compensating pregnant girlfriend with 2 goats for dumping her.

The issue came into the limelight after the pregnant girlfriend, Karen Tandanguni slapped the doctor with a lawsuit.

According to the girlfriend, their relationship began in November 2022; adding that the doctor promised to marry her and also introduce her to his family members but didn’t.

The girlfriend revealed that his family members warned her about his history of three marriages and multiple children.

Karen disclosed that after their breakup, the doctor gave her two goats as compensation, but she rejected it.

Karen accused Dr. Chiwawa of pressuring her to terminate the pregnancy and allegedly threatening her when she refused.

“I also fear for my life because he said he is prepared to harm me if I keep the child,” she stated.

After the girlfriend reported him to the Burundi police station before heading to court, Dr Chiwawa denied knowing her pregnant girlfriend.

“I know the girl from around, and I don’t care whatever she says. You can write all the information she tells you. She just wants to tarnish my image,” he stated.
