Kyle Richards, a familiar face from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is stirring the pot by hinting at explosive drama involving herself, Erika Jayne, and Dorit Kemsley in the upcoming 15th season.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, December 4, Kyle, who is 56, revealed that she and Erika, 53, have ceased communication with Dorit, 49. This fallout stems from a heated argument that erupted during a cast trip to Italy, a confrontation that fans will witness unfold in the new season.
“While I thought we weren’t supposed to disclose much, it became quite evident at BravoCon that Erika and I are no longer on speaking terms with Dorit, and vice versa,” Kyle shared, alluding to the significant altercation on their Italian getaway.
She elaborated, “The situation was quite shocking, mainly because we’ve all been part of the show for a long time. Having such a fallout with someone you’ve known so well and been closest to is far more challenging than with a newcomer.”
Viewers saw Kyle and Dorit’s longstanding friendship fracture during RHOBH season 14, however, the pair appeared to reach an accord by the end of the season.
Ahead of the new season, Kyle gave an update on where she stands with Dorit exclusively to Us Weekly.
“She’s not open-minded to listening to you, and when she has something in her head, that’s it,” Kyle explained to Us. “It’s really frustrating to try to have a conversation with her. Unfortunately, we tried to fix things, and it was like two steps forward, three steps back.”
“I would love to say we’re in a better place now, but it got worse, and things came to blows in Italy when Erika was part of that too. That part’s been hard,” Kyle added.
Kyle and Dorit seemed on good terms during Thursday’s RHOBH season 15 premiere, with Kyle noting in a confessional, “Dorit and I have had our ups and downs at times, but last year was a new low. I think until we spend more time with each other, it’s going to be a work in progress.”
One of the points of contention between the longtime friends was Kyle’s friendship with Dorit’s estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, from whom Dorit separated in May 2024. Kyle told us that she has since stopped communicating with PK.
Season 15 will feature a sitdown conversation between Dorit and Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
Asked why it was apparently OK for Dorit and Mauricio to remain friends, but not her and PK, Kyle told Us, “That’s a good question to ask her.”

“I was totally fine with them doing that, by the way. Just like I know she was fine with [PK sending me] memes,” she said, adding that she “encouraged” Dorit and Mauricio’s meetup.
“I genuinely felt like Mau could maybe help bridge the gap with [Dorit and PK],” she said. “What they’re going through, they cannot see eye to eye. It’s, unfortunately, not been real friendly.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
