Draya Michele,39, and her eldest son, Kniko Howard, are making headlines after their courtside appearance at a Houston Rockets game this past weekend.

The duo attended the game at the Toyota Center to cheer on Draya’s boyfriend, Jalen Green,22, who led the Rockets to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

For the outing, Kniko,22, wore a stylish olive green pants and jacket set, pairing it with a white T-shirt and brown boots. Meanwhile, Draya, 39, turned heads in an all-black ensemble featuring a tank top, feathered pants, and boots.

However, it wasn’t just their outfits that caught the public’s attention. Social media exploded with comments about the age gap between Draya, 39, and her boyfriend, Jalen Green, who is the same age as Kniko.

One person on X wrote , “Having a stepdad the same age as you is weird as hell. Draya goofy as hell.”

Another commenter sarcastically remarked, “Draya’s boyfriend and son can bond over childhood memories. This is crazy.”

Other users were just as vocal, with one adding, “Draya having a baby by a young man the same age as her son is diabolical.” 

Despite the negativity, Draya has remained unbothered about the criticism. In a previous interview with TMZ, she addressed the age gap between her and Green, stressing that love shouldn’t be judged.

“Two adults being in love, I don’t know why that would rub people the wrong way,” she said. “It’s kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day.”

Green and Michele welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, in May 2024. Both also have children from previous relationships with Green welcoming a daughter with Myah Lakopo in February 2024. Draya, who also has an 8-year-old son, Jru, with her ex-fiancé Orlando Scandrick, now has a total of three kids.
