Adam Woodyatt, famed for his long-standing role as Ian Beale on the British soap “EastEnders,” is reportedly set to compete on “Celebrity MasterChef” after dedicating 34 years to the show.
The 50-year-old actor is well-recognized for his portrayal of the iconic character who ran Kathy’s Cafe, Beale’s Plaice fish and chips shop, and a restaurant in Walford East throughout his time on “EastEnders.”
According to The Mirror, Adam is rumored to be following a similar path as former co-star John Partridge, who claimed victory on “Celebrity MasterChef” last year.
John Partridge, who played Christian Clarke, Jane Beale’s brother, for four and a half years, shared an on-screen family connection with Woodyatt, making him Adam’s fictional brother-in-law.

John starred as Jane Beale’s gay brother Christian Clarke for four-and-a-half years which makes him Adam’s former on-screen brother-in-law.
While John bowed out of the British soap in November 2012, Adam remains as one of the longest serving characters on Albert Square.Â
Adam could be healthy competition in the show as he already has A-list contacts in the food industry because his ins are sold in Marco Pierre White’s restaurants.

The soap star set up Neat Gin, which is a London Dry Gin containing eight botanicals, with his wife Beverley two years ago.
MailOnline has approached Adam Woodyatt and the BBC’s representatives for further comment.
The Mirror also claimed I’m A Celeb winner Vicky Pattison, former Gogglebox star Dom Parker, former boxing promoter Kellie Maloney and former footballer Neil Razor Ruddock and boxing champ Dillian Whyte make up the star-studded line-up.

In recent news, Adam joined his fellow EastEnders stars to run the London Marathon amid Barbara Windsor’s battle with Alzheimer’s.Â
Barbara’s Revolutionaries, who were rallied by the soap TV star’s husband Scott Mitchell, raised more than £100,000 for the cause.Â
Adam worked closely alongside Barbara when she starred as Peggy Mitchell on EastEnders until her last appearance in 2016.
