Snowfall fans are getting closer to a spin-off.
Deadline revealed in 2023 that a spinoff of the FX series was in early development, though a pilot was officially ordered by the network in March of this year, per Variety. More details surrounding the project — for which a title has yet to be announced — have come to light.
Created by John Singleton, who passed away in 2019, Snowfall followed the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles in the ’80s. The series debuted in 2017, and ran for six seasons on FX, starring Damson Idris, Carter Hudson, Isaiah John, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Angela Lewis, Amin Joseph, Michael Hyatt, and Gail Bean.
