The finale of Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a dramatic self-elimination and a heartwarming proposal as Mel Owens presented a Neil Lane ring to his chosen Golden Gal. Alongside this emotional climax, Bachelor Nation was treated to an exciting preview of the forthcoming season of The Bachelorette, headlined by Taylor Frankie Paul from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

In the course of the two-hour finale event, host Jesse Palmer made time to share footage from his recent conversation with Taylor at the iconic Bachelor mansion. Filming for The Bachelorette Season 22 is in full swing, with the premiere slated for March 22, 2026.

During their chat, Jesse presented Taylor with a classic dirty soda following a rose ceremony, as they delved into her experiences on the show so far. The interaction offered Bachelor Nation a tantalizing sneak peek, which is available for viewers at the top of the article.

Reflecting on her journey, Taylor remarked to Jesse, “It really kicked off quickly. I definitely have some crushes already. I wouldn’t say I’m completely surprised, but I am a bit taken aback.” Jesse and Taylor shared their appreciation for the exceptional group of men vying for her heart.

“They’re all incredible, which has made it even more challenging. If they weren’t so remarkable, it would be easier to sort through them. But they exude such gentlemanly qualities, and there’s undeniable chemistry, making it quite an adventure,” Taylor explained. “Many of them weren’t fully aware of my backstory before joining, but by being transparent about my imperfect past, it seems to encourage them to open up about theirs as well.”

For the Secret Lives of Mormon Lives fans who were wondering if Taylor was having an easier Bachelorette run because of her reality TV history, the Season 22 lead assures Bachelor Nation this is a “completely different world.”

“This whole experience — I don’t kiss and start relationships on TV. I’ve never done that. So that has been new to me. The PDA is what really is getting me, because, I get nervous. PDA is a fear of mine,” she shared, explaining that she tossing out the rule book. “I’m not a very by the book girl. I just want to be more comfortable. The more comfortable we are, myself and the men, everyone in this. And how do we do that? I think we try to be our truest self. So if I want to wear Crocs tonight, or any other night, can I wear my Crocs? Can we eat the food that’s on the table? But also, if I want to send people home before the rose ceremony, if I catch something, I’m sending them home.”

Jesse revealed that exact scenario happened a couple of hours earlier, and Taylor explained, “He made it easy, because he was trying to fire back at me. And I’m just like, ‘absolutely not.’ I’m not here to waste your time. Please don’t waste mine. And if you’re here for the wrong reasons, you’re leaving.”

One thing’s for sure, Taylor is keeping the guys, Jesse, and Bachelor Nation on their toes — both figuratively, and apparently literally during a Dancing with the Stars group date!

When asked if Taylor thinks her husband could be on the show, she told Jesse, “Yes, I do think that. It’s scary to say that, because it’s like, the last thing you want to be is heartbroken at the end of this, when you want that to be a mutual feeling. But on my end, yes.” She explained those real feelings and sending people home have been the hardest parts of her journey, but said the “unknown” of it all has been her favorite.

Buckle up for another wild ride, Bachelor Nation! Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season is coming in March 2026. While you wait, you can watch The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu.
