MTV is pulling out all the stops to get fans to tune in for the season finale of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter; a teaser at the end of the penultimate episode hinted at a big pregnancy reveal coming up. While the network is trying to build suspense, fans of the series think they already know who is expecting a new baby. After the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter trailer aired, online sleuths quickly theorized that Cheyenne Floyd is the cast member expecting another baby.

Fans believe Cheyenne Floyd is pregnant

While MTV was trying to keep the upcoming Teen Mom: The Next Chapter pregnancy announcement under wraps until next week, the network underestimated the show’s fans. Shortly after the promo aired, fans quickly noted that the countertops shown in the promo matched those seen in Cheyenne Floyd’s home. They took to Reddit to discuss it.

The countertops weren’t the only hint. Several fans noted that while the other cast members have been busy posting full-body shots of themselves on social media, Floyd has been keeping it pretty low-key. It almost seems as though she’s trying to hide something, like a pregnancy.

Fans are unsure if Cheyenne belongs on the series

While Cheyenne Floyd has some fans, many Teen Mom viewers remain wary of the star, partly because she has nothing in common with the original cast. After appearing on other MTV shows, Floyd joined the cast of Teen Mom OG. The casting was controversial from the start. Fans pointed out that she was never actually a teen mother. Floyd was well into her 20s when she learned she was pregnant. Cory Wharton is the child’s father. The pair hooked up after meeting on The Challenge. Floyd was 24 when her daughter, Ryder, was born. Wharton was also 24.

Wharton and Floyd are not together. He moved on with Taylor Selfridge, although his lack of interest in marrying her has been a sore point. In 2020, Floyd reconnected with Zach Davis, an old friend. They welcomed a son, Ace Terrell Davis, in 2021. Floyd and Davis married the following year and have been open about their desire to have more children. Their fertility concerns were featured on the show.
