It’s over for Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 couple John Sansone and Claire Dinette.
On August 16, the Missouri farmer/law student announced that he and Claire had mutually decided to go their separate ways. The breakup is recent, with John reporting that they split not long after Lollapalooza in early August. The annual music festival is held in Chicago, where Claire lives, and the two attended the event together, according to a post on her Instagram. John lives in St. Louis, and the couple have been long-distance since the filming for the Fox reality show ended.

“I would like to share that Claire and I ended our relationship shortly after Lollapalooza, over a week ago,” John wrote on Instagram. “This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts. While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it’s best to move forward separately. While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible. Thank you for your kindness and support.”
Claire reposted John’s statement to her Instagram Story, along with the comment, “I ain’t reading all that but ditto.” The day before John’s announcement, she shared a video of her lip-syncing to Sabrina Carpenter’s breakup song “Don’t Smile,” which includes the lyrics, “Don’t smile because it happened, baby, cry because it’s over (I want you to miss me, I want you to miss me).”
John chose Claire in the May 2025 finale of Farmer Wants a Wife despite some big differences over religion and ideas for what they’d like their family to look like. (John wanted a stay-at-home wife and mom, while Claire was committed to her career.)

Jay Woods and Grace Clark did not stay together after filming ended, she confirmed in a social media update soon after the finale aired.
Colton Hendricks ended up with Zoë Green in the season’s last episode. But a few days after the finale, he introduced his social media followers to his new girlfriend, a woman named Cassie.
Matt Warren chose Chelsi Davis to join him on his California ranch. It’s not clear if they are still together.
Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 is streaming on Hulu.
