Fetty Wap has joyfully reunited with his daughter Khari after being released from prison.

According to TMZ, the rapper spent some cherished moments last week with 9-year-old Khari and her mother, Masika Kalysha. Their time together included a visit to a recording studio, dining out, and a shopping spree.

In addition to bonding with Khari, Fetty also connected with Masika’s daughter, Amari, from her marriage to her late husband. This reunion was notable for Khari meeting Fetty’s other children for the first time.

Fetty’s release conditions require him to stay in a halfway house or under home confinement until November. Consequently, Masika is contemplating moving with the children to New Jersey to be nearer to him.

This family reunion comes in the wake of several posts Masika shared on X, shortly after Fetty’s release on January 8, 2026.

In a series of posts on the platform, she expressed disappointment in him, writing, “I hate believing in a [jigga] that I know I shouldn’t believe in and he prove me tf right. Prove me WRONG for once! Damn!”

She followed up with another post asking, “How you get out and be an immediate disappointment?”

Her tone escalated in a subsequent post, where she wrote, “1st day out and still a b@#ch a#s [jigga]. Go back.”

Masika later made it clear that her concerns centered on her children, adding, “I don’t play about my babies and idgaf who don’t like it. My kids have been through enough! Let my babies down and you gonna see a difference side of me.”

Following the posts, Fetty appeared on The Breakfast Club, where he was asked directly about Masika’s comments.

In response, the rapper said he had no negative feelings toward Masika and credited her for allowing him to maintain a relationship with their daughter while he was incarcerated.

“I appreciate her for making sure she making sure that my daughter knew that I love her. She didn’t she didn’t try to keep her away at this time,” Fetty said. “You know, during that time I was down. Uh, you know, whenever I call for her, she let me talk to her. You know what I mean? I don’t got nothing bad to say about her, so whatever.”
