The excitement surrounding the 2026 Winter Olympics has captivated audiences worldwide, blending thrilling athletic competition with compelling storytelling. However, the Olympic Games do come with one drawback: a hiatus for several beloved television shows.

Fans of St. Denis Medical, brace yourselves. The next new episode won’t air until March, meaning you’ll have to wait a little longer for the antics of Buffalo Bruce and Matty the Kid.

The Olympic schedule has also affected some other fan favorites on NBC, including the popular trio of shows set in Chicago—Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. While these series are on a brief pause, fans can look forward to their return with an exciting three-hour crossover event.

So, when will One Chicago be back on the air? Here’s all the information you need to catch your favorite shows once the Olympic programming concludes.

Are Chicago Fire, Med, and PD New Tonight (2/11/26)?

For now, NBC’s usual primetime lineup is temporarily on hold, as the network focuses on delivering comprehensive coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina.

When Does One Chicago Return With New Episodes?

Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. return Wednesday, March 4 for a three-hour One Chicago crossover event, which will air from 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET on NBC.

All three shows will once again be available for next-day streaming on Peacock, with new episodes debuting Thursday, March 5, on the platform.
