Amidst a world of chaos, there’s a silver lining for anime fans—Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is making a triumphant return to U.S. theaters this weekend.
Officially titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle – Part 1: Akaza Returns, this film picks up where the fourth season of the popular anime series left off. It marks the beginning of a trilogy set to conclude the saga. When it first graced U.S. theaters in September 2025, the movie shattered records, raking in an impressive $70 million during its opening weekend—the highest domestic opening for an anime film in history. Will it manage to surpass its own milestone this time around?
Unlike its predecessors, Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training, which were compilation films, Infinity Castle offers fresh storytelling, propelling the series toward its grand finale. It’s no surprise that it became Japan’s highest-grossing movie of 2025 upon its July release there. Now, American audiences have another chance to experience this cinematic spectacle on the big screen. Here’s where you can catch the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie.
Where to watch the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie:
For now, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle can only be enjoyed in theaters. The film will re-open in select U.S. theaters starting Friday, March 6, and will hit U.K. theaters on March 7. To find a screening near you, check Fandango for showtimes. As it stands, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle isn’t available on any streaming platforms.
Is the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu?
Currently, you won’t find Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu in the U.S. For now, the only way to experience this anime epic is by heading to the cinema.
That said, you can watch the first season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba on Hulu, and you can watch the full series in both dub and sub on Crunchyroll. You can also watch five seasons of Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc on Netflix.
When will Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie be on streaming?
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle streaming release date on Hulu and Crunchyroll has not yet been announced. That said, the movie is being released by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures in North America, so it’s likely you will see the movie streaming on Crunchyroll before it streams anywhere else, and on Hulu and Netflix after that. Crunchyroll is a subscription streaming service that hosts a lot of anime content. Prices range from $7.99–$15.99 a month, and they currently offer a 14-day free trial.
If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $10.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.
If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. These bundles start at $12.99/month for ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu and goes up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max, all ad-free.
But right now, the movie is not on Crunchyroll, or on Netflix or Hulu. If you want to watch the movie right away, you’ll have to see it in a movie theater when it re-opens in U.S. theaters on March 6.
