BravoCon 2025 has been a hub of unexpected reunions that have both delighted and surprised its attendees. Among the notable moments was a heartwarming encounter between estranged siblings Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga, who reconciled with a hug amidst the buzz of the Bravo Bazaar. However, the event also featured some unlikely meetups behind the scenes, including a memorable interaction between former Vanderpump Rules stars and ex-couple Tom Sandoval and Kristen Doute.

In an interview with Decider on Friday, November 14, Sandoval shared details of his unexpected meeting with Doute and her fiancé, Luke Broderick, at their Las Vegas hotel. The reunion was made even more special with the presence of Doute and Broderick’s five-month-old daughter, Kaia.

“I ran into Kristen and Luke as we were checking in!” Sandoval recounted, noting that they took the opportunity to catch up. “I even got to meet the baby,” he added, clearly touched by the moment.

Doute, who is now part of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley, became engaged to Broderick during a Season 2 cast trip to Hawaii. The couple welcomed their daughter Kaia in June, marking a new chapter in their lives.

Reflecting on seeing his former girlfriend in her new role as a mother, Sandoval commented, “It’s great. I love seeing people sort of evolve into themselves.” His words underscored the sense of growth and transformation that has characterized both their lives since their days on the original show.

Sandoval’s relationship with Doute was heavily documented in the early seasons of Vanderpump Rules. The former couple dated from 2007 to 2013, but their time together was infamously riddled with drama and infidelity (Doute admitted to sleeping with Sandoval’s best friend Jax Taylor in the Season 2 finale, while Sandoval also confessed to cheating on her with Ariana Madix, whom he ultimately went on to date for nine years before having an affair with their mutual close friend, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss).

While Doute was staunchly Team Ariana in the Scandoval of it all, it seems that she and Sandoval have been in communication as of late. Back in June, Sandoval revealed that Doute and Broderick reached out to congratulate him on his America’s Got Talent audition. “We talk to each other from time to time. Especially Luke, I see him more often,” he told E! News.

Sandoval seemed to be having a much easier time at BravoCon this time around. At the 2023 convention—which took place mere months after his cheating scandal—he was loudly booed as he walked on stage for the Vanderpump Rules panel.

“It does feel a lot lighter this time,” he told Decider. “A lot more fun. But BravoCon is always great energy. It’s always so much love, so much fun. It’s a great way to connect with our fans, and I love it.”
