American Idol is packing up the band and heading to Disneyland.

It’s Disney Night (Part 1) tonight, and the seven remaining contestants will celebrate Mother’s Day while putting their own spin on Disney classics. Moana and Encanto composer Lin-Manuel Miranda will be on hand as this week’s guest mentor.

At the end of the night, two contestants will be eliminated, cutting the group down to just five. Disney Night (Part 2) is set for Monday, May 12, and will feature the Top 5 singing Disney songs about heroes and villains.

Is American Idol On Tonight?

Yes! A new episode of American Idol airs live from coast to coast tonight, May 11, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.

How to Watch American Idol for Free:

The only way to watch “American Idol” live without cable is by using a live TV streaming service. We recommend DIRECTV, which includes ABC in its base plan and comes with a five-day free trial.

fuboTV is another great free option that’s also offering great savings on the first month — $20 off, to be exact, after a seven-day free trial.

Is American Idol on Hulu?

American Idol will not stream live on Hulu, but subscribers will be able to watch tonight’s episode on Hulu beginning tomorrow morning.

It’s the most cost-effective way to tune in to American Idol if you’re fine not watching it live.
