Gemma Collins sparked a wave of criticism during her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef Thursday night, where viewers labeled her as “lazy, rude, and disrespectful.”

The 37-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) stirred up audience reactions as she assumed a commanding role in the kitchen, directing professional chefs rather than participating actively. At one point, she declared, “I need to be the boss,” which left many fans unimpressed.

However, not all viewers were critical. Some found her antics entertaining and shared on social media that her behavior brought them laughter as she took charge on the beloved cooking show.

During the episode, Gemma was seen addressing a professional chef with, “Do you want to put that in the oven for me, hun?” and later she called out, “Ooh, someone get me the fish out!”

Talking to one of the professional chefs, Gemma said: ‘Do you want to put that in the oven for me hun’? Ooh, someone get me fish out!’ she demanded.

She then revealed that she felt completely at ease in the heat of the moment, admitting: ‘I feel like I’ve got this right under control in the kitchen now.’

‘I think if I worked in a kitchen I’d need to be like where this man’s standing’ explained the blonde bombshell, as she pointed at the head chef, before turning behind her and impatiently requesting: ‘The fish, the fish!’

‘Who knows? I could be the next Nigella!’ suggested Gemma, despite her ‘chick pea stew,’ her crab-meat-filled mango, and her meal of chicken thighs served with an omelette, not wowing the judges by any stretch of the imagination. 

And so, while many were horrified with Gemma’s feisty display, others found the reality star’s appearance on the BBC cooking show nothing short of hilarious.
