Dreaming of a home makeover in 2026? You’re in luck because HGTV is gearing up to offer a fresh lineup of shows that promises to spark your creativity and provide plenty of design inspiration throughout the year.
Although the network bid farewell to several popular series in 2025—such as Married to Real Estate, Bargain Block, and Farmhouse Fixer—there’s no shortage of excitement on the horizon. Beloved shows are set to make a return, and a host of brand-new series are ready to grace our screens. Here’s a sneak peek into what HGTV has lined up for its 2026 programming.
New episodes of ‘Home Town’ and ‘Ugliest House in America’ coming to HGTV in January 2026
Kicking off the new year, Home Town will resume with a fresh batch of episodes. Ben and Erin Napier are back to charm audiences with their small-town renovation skills, starting Sunday, January 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Expect sixteen brand-new episodes filled with heartwarming transformations.
Come January 7, Retta will return with a new season of Ugliest House in America. Tune in every Wednesday at 8 and 8:30 p.m. ET/PT to witness her witty take on some of the most questionable design choices across the country.
Following the hilarity of Ugliest House in America, stick around for more episodes of Cheap A$$ Beach Houses at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Launched in late 2024, this show continues to entertain with its humorous approach to acquiring a beachside haven without breaking the bank.
HGTV will also continue to air new episodes of Fixer to Fabulous on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Plus, Celebrity IOU with Jonathan and Drew Scott airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. This season features Ike Barinholtz, William Shatner, Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria, and John Stamos gifting home renovations to important people in their lives. The Scott brothers also star in a fresh season of Don’t Hate Your House With the Property Brothers, which premieres December 29. And new series Junk or Jackpot? with Bobby Berk airs Fridays at 9:30 p.m ET/PT.
Of course, there are also network mainstays House Hunters and House Hunters International, with hundreds of new 30-minutes episodes set to air through 2026. Plus, Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa and Christina Haack will face off again in season 2 of The Flip Off. While a premiere date hasn’t been confirmed, new episodes will likely air in 2026. Viewers can also look forward to new seasons of Zillow Gone Wild and Castle Impossible.
New shows coming to HGTV in 2026
HGTV has also announced several new shows for 2026.
Neighborhood Watch premieres Wednesday, January 7 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. It reveals “the raw, unfiltered and sometimes shocking footage straight from security cameras, smart doorbells and nanny cams across America,” highlighting “the most embarrassing, hilarious, outrageous and downright bizarre moments caught on home surveillance video,” according to HGTV.
Also on the horizon in early 2026 is Wild Vacation Rentals. It follows Nobody Wants This stars and comedians Sherry Cola and D’Arcy Carden as they embark on an epic girls’ trip to visit America’s extraordinary vacation homes.
In addition, next year brings the premiere of new house-hunting series World’s Bargain Dream Home. Each of the 12 episodes “follow people brave enough to purchase the world’s most affordable properties that also happen to be stunning, turnkey and in desirable locations around the globe, many of which offer incredible cost-saving incentives.”
Drew and Jonathan Scott are also expanding their HGTV footprint with a new show, Property Brothers: Under Pressure. In the 14-episode show, the twins work with wary buyers grappling with commitment issues as they deal with the highs and lows of buying a home.
