Lauren Graham was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and her ‘Gilmore Girls’ family showed up to support her.

Lauren Graham celebrated a special moment on October 3. The beloved actor was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, becoming only the second Gilmore Girls main cast member to receive the distinction. Graham wasn’t alone at the ceremony, either. Many of her Gilmore Girls costars attended to support her and celebrate the monumental achievement. Even some crew members appeared for the special occasion.

Yanic Truesdale, Matt Czuchry, Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop were all on hand

Lauren Graham received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 3, and there were more than a few familiar faces in the crowd for her to look to for support. Several of her Gilmore Girls co-stars showed up to celebrate the career achievement with the actor best known for playing Lorelai Gilmore. Kelly Bishop was one of the first cast members to celebrate the massive honor with Graham. Bishop, who played Emily Gilmore on the show, is deeply bonded with Graham and sees her as a daughter. Graham has shown up to celebrate Bishop’s big moments, like the release of her memoir, so it’s only fitting that Bishop would be there for Graham.

Scott Patterson, who played Lorelai Gilmore’s love interest, Luke Danes, also made it to the ceremony. Patterson, who hosts a podcast about Gilmore Girls, has often praised Graham for her talent and professionalism. Yanic Truesdale, who played Michel Gerard, and Matt Czuchry, who took on the role of Logan Huntzberger, were also there to celebrate the honor. Czuchry recently starred in a Gilmore Girls-themed commercial. Truesdale has appeared on Graham’s Instagram account more than once since the end of Gilmore Girls.

Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino also showed up to celebrate Lauren Graham’s achievement

Along with several main cast members, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino appeared with Graham. Sherman-Palladino, who has often spoken lovingly with Graham, was front and center with the Parenthood star as her plaque was unveiled. Sherman-Palladino even gave a speech at the event, telling the audience that she is able to live in New York City and still have an entire room dedicated to just hats, thanks to Lauren Graham. Sam Pancake, one of Graham’s dearest friends, was also onstage to check out the unveiling.

Dan Palladino joined in later for photos with the star. Sherman-Palladino created the series. Dan Palladino served as a writer. The Palladinos left the series before the final season was filmed. Sherman-Palladino and Graham have both spoken of their deep bond and their love of working together. The famed showrunner just recently said she hopes to be in Graham’s face on a daily basis again at some point. Gilmore Girls fans hope that means a second revival will eventually air, but only time will tell.

Valerie Campbell shared a video from the event

Main cast members and the show’s creators weren’t the only ones who showed up to celebrate and show their support. Valerie Campbell was also on hand for the unveiling of Lauren Graham’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Campbell served as the key set costumer on Gilmore Girls and returned to work on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Campbell has been sharing behind-the-scenes stories and facts with fans via social media for years, much to the delight of fans. She’s always spoken kindly of Graham.

Campbell did her followers proud by sharing clips, photos, and even a livestream of the ceremony, giving them a chance to show their support, if only virtually. Campbell also uploaded photos and a video to Instagram Stories to celebrate Graham’s massive achievement.

Co-stars from her other major television hits were also on hand. Mae Whitman from Parenthood showed up to support her on-screen mom. Peter Krause, who Graham famously dated for a decade after meeting on the set of Parenthood, was not in attendance, it seems. Several of Graham’s family members were there, though, including her father, Larry Graham.
