Kim Kardashian hit the ground running when it came to launching her acting career. The reality star and fashion mogul landed her first role in Ryan Murphy‘s Rosemary’s Baby retelling, American Horror Story: Delicate. Now, she’s set to star opposite Oscar nominee Glenn Close and Niecy Nash-Betts in Murphy’s new legal drama, All’s Fair.

But Close recently told The Daily Mail that she did not offer Kardashian any acting tips when they began filming. Instead, she only had praise to share for her new co-star.

“I would not presume to give Kim Kardashian advice,” she said. “I think she’s a very, very brilliant woman. I think she could choose to do anything she wants.”

The new Hulu series stars Close and Kardashian as part of an all-female team of divorce attorneys in Los Angeles. Kardashian is an executive producer on the series, alongside her mother Kris Jenner.

Close added that she “was curious” to meet Kardashian.

“I couldn’t wait to meet her,” she said. “I had never done a Ryan Murphy show before, which is a whole other universe, and I think she would be surprised at how I was. I had to find my feet.”

The reality star recently admitted on The Kardashians that she was beginning to feel “really nervous” about her role in the series. “I have to bring it,” she says on the show. “The second episode I have a huge scene, just me and Glenn Close, like a really important one.”

But her co-stars appear to have the utmost faith in her acting skills.

Sarah Paulson, a regular collaborator of Murphy’s who will also star in All’s Fair, also defended Kardashian’s acting abilities.

“I think it is absolutely time for people to take Kim Kardashian seriously as an actress. She was absolutely excellent in American Horror Story: Delicate,” Paulson told Yahoo Entertainment.

She added, “I think the show we’re about to do together is going to be a tremendous amount of fun and she’s going to be glorious on it. I have absolutely no doubt about that. Zero.”

Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor and Ed O’Neill will also star in the series.

A premiere date has not been set for All’s Fair. But fans can still catch Kardashian’s acting debut in American Horror Story: Delicate, which is streaming now on Hulu.
