We thought it was supposed to be about the men! A newly ‘single’ Rosie Huntington-Whiteley leads the glamour at GQ Men Of The Year Awards
It may have been the big night in the showbiz calendar to toast the men of the year, but it was certainly the ladies who brought in the glamour on Tuesday night.
Especially as the glamorous showbiz ladies seemed to all be vying for attention in a series of flesh baring ensembles.
It was the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Daisy Lowe who particularly stood out in their daring outfits.

Model Rosie wore a low cut white PVC Versace frock which perfectly emphasised her catwalk figure.
But it was Daisy who showed off even more flesh in a black frock which split completely up the side to reveal her entire leg – and even her undergarments.
And if that wasn’t enough she also showed off her voluptuous curves with the plunging cut.

Daisy seemed confident in the number grinning from ear to ear as she posed for photographs while showing off her pointy red heels.
Emma Watson in fact stole the show on the red carpet as she dared to bare in a quirky crop top.
She showed off her petite waist with the cream coloured top which had large shoulder pads incorporated into it.

And to make it even more quirky she wore a pair of black high-waisted trousers.
Other guests who stood out on the night included model Jourdan Dunn, who kept with the theme to show off her assets in a low cut gold gown with a side split.
And Suki Waterhouse also stunned in her own light gold coloured frock.

Rita Ora also stunned as she showed off her enviable curves in a backless yellow and black zebra print frock.
Excited about one of the most hotly-anticipated nights on the fashion calendar, Rita tweeted: ‘GQ Awards were on our way! Thank you the best makeup artist in the world @eosborne_makeup love you!!’
Rita’s Twitter post paid tribute to her make-up artist for the night, Emma Osborne, a lady whose work regularly features in publications including Elle, Esquire, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, and also has a host of celebrity clients including Alexa Chung and Ellie Goulding.

The Hot Right Now singer accompanied her look with a pair of spiral black and gold earrings, and a hand full of chunky gold rings.
Her intricate make-up design drew a thin pencil line around the middle of her eyelid, but kept the rest simple with some nude lip gloss and face shimmer.
Rita quiffed her short blonde locks into an elegant style especially for the occasion, complementing the cut-out black and yellow zebra striped dress perfectly.

After owning the red carpet, Rita was later spotted conversing with Russell Brand and Noel Gallagher and looked to be having a detailed conversation.
Inside the awards, Sir Elton John was declared a genius, but promptly gave his prize away – to the man who was presenting it.
Paying tribute to Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson, who has fought a very public battle with cancer, Sir Elton handed him his award saying: “You’re the f*****g genius here”.

He added: ‘He’s too busy living life to think about f*****g dying’.
Speaking later, Johnson said he was ‘very, very touched’ by the gesture, adding: ‘I didn’t expect it but I’ll probably put the award on my mantelpiece like you’re supposed to.’
The event, which had its feisty moments with winners swapping barbed comments on stage, saw Michael Douglas put his marriage troubles behind him as he was declared a legend.

Douglas was presented with the award by Samuel L Jackson at a dinner attended by celebrities including Lou Reed, Justin Timberlake and Sir Bobby Charlton.
The event was hosted by comic Rob Brydon and saw Sir Bobby given a Lifetime Achievement award by current Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand.
Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher criticised William Hague, who presented an award, for being ‘here with all the s**t going on around the world you should be sorting out’.

Other winners at the awards included Tom Ford who was given the Designer award by Timberlake, former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens who won the Most Stylish award and London Mayor Boris Johnson who won the politician award.
Emma Watson picked up the Woman award, Who frontman Roger Daltrey won the Editor’s Choice award and Pharrell Williams was presented with the Performer award by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
This year’s event is the 16th annual awards organised by the men’s magazine.
