The cherished 1966 animated classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” is set to make its annual appearance on NBC this year, and for those who prefer streaming, it is also available on Peacock.
As we find ourselves once again in the midst of the holiday season, feelings can be mixed depending on the state of the world. However, it’s likely that no one is quite as grumpy as the Grinch, the infamous character from Dr. Seuss’s timeless tale. ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ airs December 4 on NBC
How the Grinch Stole Christmas debuted in 1966 on CBS. The 26-minute animated special features Boris Karloff as both the narrator and the voice of the small-hearted Grinch.
This year, How the Grinch Stole Christmas airs Thursday, December 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. An encore presentation airs Thursday, December 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Frosty the Snowman airs immediately after How the Grinch Stole Christmas on December 4, with an encore on December 9 at 8 p.m. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer airs Friday, December 5 at 8 p.m., with an an encore on December 11 at 8 p.m.
