After a big weekend of Academy Awards precursors last weekend, another major ceremony is set to take place this afternoon.

The BAFTA Film Awards, presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, will honor the best of films that screened in British cinemas between January 1 and December 31, 2024 — most of which overlap with many of the nominees being recognized at awards ceremonies here in America (for example, all five BAFTA nominees for Best Picture also received that honor at the upcoming Academy Awards).

This year, Conclave leads all films with 12 nominations, with Emilia Pérez and The Brutalist following closely behind with 11 and nine nods, respectively.

During the ceremony this year, English pop group Take That is set to perform “Greatest Day,” which featured prominently in Anora, and Wicked star Jeff Goldblum will play piano during the In Memoriam segment.

Americans looking to tune in to the BAFTAs from across the point have an easy and free way to do so; keep reading to find out how.
