Though Hailey Bieber has stated that her marriage to Justin Bieber is in great shape, many fans believe otherwise. Justin’s social media activity has brought him widespread criticism, particularly for the way he has talked about his wife. On Mother’s Day, Justin’s Instagram message ruffled many feathers. On Father’s Day, Hailey got back at him with a post of her own.
Hailey Bieber seemingly hit back at Justin Bieber with a Father’s Day message
On Mother’s Day, Justin posted a message on the Notes portion of his Instagram account. “Love u moms but mothers day sucks a**,” he wrote.
Many people quickly rushed to Hailey’s defense, sharing their belief that this was not an appropriate post, especially since Hailey is a new mother. He also posted several pictures of Hailey with the caption, “Best mommy day gurlie [sic].”
Roughly a month later, Hailey made a very similar comment about Father’s Day. Justin posted a picture of himself with the caption “I’m a dad that’s not to be f***ed with,” along with a middle finger emoji. Hailey quickly posted, then seemingly deleted, a comment that read, “Father’s Day sucks a**.”
A handful of fans in the comments began tagging Hailey to ask her where her comment went.
She has said her marriage is doing well
Fans have speculated about the state of the Biebers’ marriage since they tied the knot in 2018. Hailey said this has been difficult to handle.
“Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she told Vogue. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, They’re getting divorced and They’re this and They’re not happy: It is such a mindf***. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”
She said she expected the rumors about her relationship to die down, but it seems they have only gotten louder.
“Well, I thought seven years in it would’ve already, and it hasn’t,” she said. “You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no. So I guess these b****es are going to be mad.”

While Hailey comes from a famous family, Justin experienced global stardom at a young age. She said he has taught her how to handle fame.
“I’ve learned so much from Justin, really,” she said. “He’s been doing this literally since he was a child and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know. He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.’”
Still, she said facing near-constant backlash has not been easy for her.
“I feel like I’ve fought so hard to try to get people to understand me, or know who I am, or see me for me. And people just don’t want to sometimes,” she said. “And there’s nothing you can do about that. I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie and then they go, Well, she’s lying. Imagine how trapping that feels.”
