In a recent development that has caught the public’s attention, Halle Bailey, known for her role in “The Little Mermaid,” and rapper DDG have decided to dismiss the restraining orders they had previously filed against each other nearly five months ago. This update comes from the latest court documents obtained by TMZ.

These documents specify that both parties maintain the right to revisit any domestic violence allegations in the future. The dismissal does not preclude either from seeking new court orders if necessary, ensuring that the legal door remains open should further action be required.

Additionally, Bailey and DDG have reached an agreement to refrain from making negative public comments about one another. They have also established a temporary custody arrangement for their son, Halo. Under this agreement, DDG is granted visitation rights on Wednesdays and certain weekends, with a schedule in place for sharing holidays.

This arrangement builds on an earlier court order from August, which prohibited both parents from posting or disseminating any photographs or personal details about Halo on social media. During that time, DDG was granted limited “peaceful contact” with Bailey to facilitate visitation arrangements.

While the legal proceedings continue to unfold, DDG appears to have alluded to the situation on his latest album, “moo,” released on October 10 under Epic Records.

The 14-track project includes collaborations with BIA, Gunna, and PlaqueBoxMax. On the opening track, “17 More Years,” he reflects on their co-parenting journey, rapping:

“I don’t wanna fight no more, tired of the court dates. Lawyers gettin’ over on us, watchin’ money go to waste/We should all get together on his birthday, light the cake.”

“If we talk, it’ll get better, go ahead and drop the case,” he continues. “Used to text your phone, now we speakin’ through the mail/You don’t even know I got love for you still/Said you want me gone, is that really how you feel?/Might as well get along, we got seventeen more years.”

The new court filings suggest that while their relationship remains complicated, Bailey and DDG are focusing on creating stability for their son.
