Nancy Guthrie’s Health Concerns Highlighted as Urgent Medication Requirement Surfaces
In the ongoing search for Nancy, officials have stressed the critical nature of her daily medication, which she likely lacks access to at the moment.
“Nancy is an 84-year-old woman facing various health challenges, requiring medication that is crucial for her survival,” stated Nanos during a press briefing on February 2. “Without it, she could face life-threatening consequences within 24 hours.”
He urged, “We appeal to anyone with information—whether you’ve seen or heard anything—to reach out. Dial 911. We need to prevent another tragic situation and are asking for the community’s assistance.”
Despite her physical limitations over recent years, Nanos pointed out that Nancy maintains sharp cognitive faculties.
“Nancy Guthrie is of a great sound mind,” Nanos explained. “This is not dementia-related. She is as sharp as a tack. The family wants everybody to know this isn’t somebody who just wandered off. Her physical limits are based on just age.”
As the investigation into Nancy’s disappearance continues, Nanos shared his hopes for Nancy’s safe return.
“I hope we find her safe and sound,” he emphasized, “but we cannot ignore what’s in front of us.”
