Cori Broadus continues to grieve the devastating loss of her daughter, Codi, a week after her untimely passing.

On Sunday, Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus’s daughter took to Instagram Stories, sharing heartfelt black-and-white photos and messages that reveal her struggle to cope with this heartbreaking event.

One poignant image shows Broadus nestled close to Codi with the caption, “You were supposed to bury me… not me bury you Codi.” Another touching photo captures her cradling her daughter on a couch, accompanied by the words, “I want to join you badly.”

She also shared a video showcasing tender moments with her daughter, captioning it, “Waiting for someone to tell me to wake up and this is just a bad dream.”

Marking a week since Codi’s passing on Monday, Broadus posted another photo—a close-up of her daughter’s legs—writing, “Today makes one week without you, girl. I miss you bad.”

Codi Dreaux passed away at just 10 months old. Broadus first shared the heartbreaking news on January 31, and revealed that her daughter had died on January 26, just 20 days after being released from the hospital.

“Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she wrote at the time, alongside an angel emoji.

Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared tributes to their daughter. “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux,” he wrote. “But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”

Last month, Cori celebrated her daughter’s release from the hospital, after her extended time in the NICU, following her premature birth.

“She’s home,” she wrote alongside the Jan. 6 Instagram post that showed snaps of her and her baby girl in bed. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
