Heiress Harris and Van Van are taking a delightful stroll down memory lane with their music video for “That’s My Bestie,” a tribute to the beloved pop culture of the 1990s and early 2000s.

The video is a heartfelt nod to the iconic friendship of Pam and Gina from the classic ’90s sitcom Martin, as Heiress and Van Van rap about unwavering loyalty and the power of friendship. Their lyrics capture the essence of having each other’s backs: “That’s my bestie and we got each other back, that’s my bestie / We rockin’, I’m rollin’ like Deltas, we strollin’ A.K.A., that’s my bestie, you know it / Pam and Gina, we stay down, ten toes / You will always be my wow, snow globe / Friends till the end, no child’s play / It’s our destiny, Kelly and Beyoncé.”

As the video unfolds, viewers find Heiress and Van Van in a bedroom adorned with posters of Brandy and Monica, continuing their celebration of friendship. The nostalgia deepens as the scene transitions to a setting reminiscent of the early 2000s BET show 106 & Park.

A particularly touching moment in the clip features Heiress performing in front of the So So Def Recordings billboard in Atlanta, paying homage to her mother, Tiny Harris, and her deep-rooted ties to the label. Through this video, Heiress and Van Van not only celebrate their own friendship but also honor the cultural icons that have shaped their artistic journey.

Heiress and Van Van are later shown in a bedroom decorated with posters of Brandy and Monica as they continue rapping about friendship. The video then shifts to a setup inspired by the early 2000s BET show 106 & Park.

The clip also includes Heiress performing in front of the So So Def Recordings billboard in Atlanta, a nod to her mom, Tiny Harris, and her long-standing connection to the label.

After the video’s release, fans shared reactions online, with many pointing out the different throwback references throughout.

“I feel like I just re-lived three decades of my life with all their references to the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. Good job to Van Van and her bestie. Heiress repping the ATL well,” one viewer wrote on YouTube.

Another commenter added, “The fact that they made references to Martin and 106 & Park is hilarious because they weren’t even born when these shows were around.”

Some viewers also commented on Heiress’s resemblance to her father, T.I., while others praised the video for being kid-friendly.

Outside of the release, Heiress continues to share new music. She recently announced her third Christmas song, Dear Santa, which is available on Apple Music, Tidal, and YouTube. Van Van has also remained active, most recently performing at a game for the Atlanta Falcons.
