Although she’s the daughter of one of Britain’s most affluent celebrity chefs, Holly Ramsay opted for a budget-conscious choice for her hen party.

Following a £1,450 investment in her engagement party dress, Gordon Ramsay’s daughter cleverly decided to repurpose the outfit, wearing it again during the weekend festivities.

Celebrating her forthcoming wedding, 25-year-old Holly donned a white mini dress by Clio Peppiatt, adorned with sparkling crystals and silver accents.

To give it a fresh twist for the event, she added a short white veil embroidered with “Mrs Peaty” on the back.

Holly originally debuted the dazzling attire at her engagement celebration with fiancé Adam Peaty in December 2024, enjoying a night of dancing with loved ones.

The couple announced their engagement in September last year after three years of dating, and are set to tie the knot this Christmas.

Over the weekend she partied alongside A-lister pals, including Victoria Beckam, at Soho Farmhouse. 

The influencer was also joined by her mum Tana, sisters Megan and Tilly, and fiancé Adam’s sister Bethany.

But, one person not in attendance was Adam’s mother who was said to be banned from her hen do.

Holly failed to invite her swimmer fiancé’s mother Caroline Peaty, 59, to her lavish pre-wedding celebrations in the Cotswolds. The fall-out was made worse by Adam inviting his father-in-law, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, to his stag do.  

Caroline instead stayed at home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, looking after her five-year-old grandson George while her soon-to-be daughter-in-law partied with her own mother Tana, family friend Victoria Beckham and Adam’s sister.

A source close to Adam’s working-class family told the Daily Mail the apparent snub happened after the swimmer, who was once close to his mother, had distanced himself from her after being seduced by the fame and glamour of the Ramsays.

Adam’s aunt Louise Williams exposed the heartbreak over her sister being left off the guest list last weekend by hitting out at Holly in a public Instagram post which accused her of being ‘divisive and hurtful’.

Louise blasted Holly over the snub to her future mother-in-law who had ‘opened her home and heart to you’ and went on to say it had inflicted ‘a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever’.

Her post stated: ‘@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. 

‘However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.

‘A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.

‘You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.

‘I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. 

‘You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.’

In a turn of events, Holly and Adam have now banned his mother Caroline from their wedding amid the astonishing family row.

A source close to the Peaty family revealed that the swimmer had left his mother ‘heartbroken’ after her sister’s post by contacting her to ban her from the wedding and to tell her she would not see his son George or any future grandchildren again.

In another message to his mother, seen by the Daily Mail, Adam stated his intention to disown his family, despite them having supported him throughout his career.

Caroline waded into the incredible row by expressing her distress in an Instagram post which stated: ‘Crying is a way your eyes speak when your mouth can’t explain how broken your heart is.’ 

Her post attracted messages of support and concern from friends including one who commented: ‘Don’t let them drag you down Caroline.’

Adam’s mother was always known as one of his staunchest supporters during his swimming career, and famously got up at 4am when he was a boy to drive him for 40 minutes to training sessions with the City of Derby swimming club.

In a punishing routine which went on for more than three years, she would then hang around for up to two hours before driving him home and going to her own job as a nursery manager while her husband and Adam’s father Mark worked as a caretaker at a Lidl store.

Caroline then shared another post with an emotional quote which she captioned: ‘The ones I love are the people who hurt me the most’

A source close to Adam’s family said they believed the ‘heartbreaking’ rift had been developing between the swimming star and his mother ever since he had begun dating Holly.

The pair met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 when Adam and Holly’s younger sister Tilly were both competing on the series.

Adam split with his partner Eirianedd Munro, the mother of his son George, in 2022. He and Holly reportedly began dating in May 2023 and quickly confirmed their relationship the following month.

The source explained Adam’s deteriorating relationship with his mother, saying: ‘It’s partly because Adam doesn’t feel his family is good enough for the new one he is now part of. 

‘Adam has changed so much since he’s been with Holly. She comes from a celebrity world, while his parents do not, and his ego and self-importance have grown. 

‘He’s no longer the lovely boy next door we all remember.’

The source said that Adam’s parents ‘sacrificed so much’ for him, even putting themselves into debt as he trained for Olympic glory.
