Just before the Oscars, Chalamet found himself at the center of a backlash due to remarks he made about ballet and opera. The uproar was so intense that it raised questions about whether it might jeopardize his Oscar prospects. Ultimately, the award went to Michael B. Jordan. Relationship expert Kara Francis highlighted how such public scrutiny can place a strain on a couple.
“Whether you’re famous or not, facing challenges as a couple can either pull you apart or bring you closer together,” Francis explained to The Mirror. “It boils down to each individual’s willingness to be open and communicate, instead of becoming withdrawn. If Timothée and Kylie can rely on and support one another during these tough times, it could actually strengthen their bond.”
Jenner was a regular attendee at many award ceremonies.
“Putting yourselves out there as a couple for significant public moments can be challenging, especially when things don’t go as planned,” Francis remarked.
“It can definitely be tough when you put yourselves out there publicly as a couple for a big stakes moment, and then it doesn’t turn out the way you hoped it would,” Francis said.
She noted that the couple might consider taking a step back from the public eye. The way they handle this situation could shape their future.
“In situations like this, some celebrities are unfazed and continue forward as they have before, while others want to take a step back and protect their privacy while they reflect on everything. Regardless of how they proceed publicly, what truly matters is the quality of their private relationship behind closed doors.”
How long have Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner been together?
Jenner and Chalamet have been linked since mid-2023. They confirmed rumors of a romance when they kissed at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. After that, they stepped out together at many events, but neither commented on their relationship.
When Chalamet won awards for his role in Marty Supreme, he shouted out Jenner in his speeches. This was one of the first times he discussed his close to three-year relationship.
They are reportedly considering marriage
While Jenner and Chalamet haven’t spoken at length about their romance, sources say they’re in a good place.
“Their relationship is very strong and they have a good rhythm going,” a source told Us Weekly.
They have reportedly been discussing marriage, though they don’t want to rush into anything.
“They’re not rushing into marriage, but they’re totally aligned and have even talked about getting engaged this year.”
Jenner reportedly wants another child with Chalamet, which could happen before marriage.
“Kylie really wants another baby and has been open about the fact that she doesn’t feel like she needs to be married to do that, and they’re both on the same page about wanting a kid together,” the source said. “Timothée never thought about starting a family until he met Kylie.”
She already shares two children with Travis Scott.
