A heartwarming moment featuring Jacob Elordi assisting his co-star Margot Robbie has captured the attention of fans everywhere. This charming act took place at the Paris premiere of “Wuthering Heights” on Monday.

The viral clip shows the 28-year-old Australian actor dashing ahead of Margot Robbie, who is 35, as they approached the elegant venue, Le Grand Rex, for a special VIP screening.

Upon reaching the stairs that led to the stage, Jacob paused and graciously helped Margot with the train of her stunning velvet, Georgian-inspired Chanel gown, showcasing a true act of chivalry.

In footage that has since gone viral, the Australian heartthrob, 28, can be seen rushing ahead of Margot, 35, as they arrived at Le Grand Rex for the VIP screening.

After reaching the stairs leading to the stage, Jacob turns around and helps Margot carry the train of her velvet, Georgian-inspired Chanel gown.

At one stage, Margot looked down from the top step and thanked her colleague for the romantic move.

While Jacob’s act was indeed very kind, fans are asking one very valid question: Why didn’t someone else help her?

Surely organisers would have known that Margot would be wearing such a dramatic gown, and that she would be required to climb a set of stairs prior to her arrival?

Further, there seems to be a number of staffers present in the video who could have lent a hand, rather than forcing the film’s A-list lead actor to step in.

Perhaps Jacob’s gentlemanly display was part of a planned campaign to continue selling the chemistry between himself and Margot?

Whatever the reason, the scene is just one of many displays of affection from the co-stars seen during their promotions tour for the film.

Last week it was reported that Margot had gifted Jacob with a stunning matching signet ring.

Each of the rings features an image of two skeletons embracing, and the words ‘Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.’

The intimate present came after the Frankenstein actor recently declared the two stars were ‘obsessed’ with each other while filming the new romantic blockbuster.

‘We have a mutual obsession,’ he told US entertainment platform Fandango, as the blonde beauty sat nearby.

‘I think the thing is, regardless of plot or screenplay, if you have the opportunity to share a film set with Margot Robbie, you’re going to make sure you’re within 5 to 10 metres at all times.

‘Watching how she drinks tea, how she eats her food, how she does it. When is it going to slip? When is the thing going to come undone? And, it never comes undone,’ he added.
