No spoilers, but when the end credits roll on Smoke Episode 9, fans of Dennis Lehane’s fiery Apple TV+ drama are going to be left craving more time with Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett’s characters, and more answers to their burning questions.

On the heels of Smoke Episode 8’s jaw-dropping twist, the official synopsis for the eventful, unexpected, action-packed Episode 9, titled “Mirror Mirror,” was as follows: “A desperate Calderone calls in a favor. Gudsen scrambles for control. A massive blaze stokes a make-or-break showdown.”

So after the smoke clears and the fires are put out in Episode 9, does more Smoke lie ahead? Curious how many episodes are in Smoke on Apple TV+? Will there be a Smoke Episode 10? And if not, will there be a Smoke Season 2 on Apple TV+? Great questions! And we’ve got answers!

Read on for everything we know about the future of Smoke on Apple TV+, including quotes from creator Dennis Lehane.

How Many Episodes Are In Smoke On Apple TV+?

Smoke Season 1 on Apple TV consists of nine episodes.

Will There Be A Smoke Episode 10 On Apple TV+?

Nope! We know it’s a bit unusual, but like Severance Season 1 before it, Smoke Season 1 only has nine episodes, not 10. That means Episode 9, “Mirror Mirror,” which premiered on Friday, August 15, was the finale.

Will There Be A Smoke Season 2 On Apple TV+?

Ahead of Smoke‘s Season 1 finale, Apple TV+ had yet to renew or cancel the series. But if given the green light to make more episodes, creator Dennis Lehane told Decider that the team has already “planned a whole Season 2” and there’s even more story potential after that!

“We’re ready to go for you! We always saw the show as three seasons,” Lehane explained. “And just so you know, I always have to know where I’m ultimately going. I don’t know how I’m getting there, but I know where I am going. So I know where the show’s going.”

While we wait for more updates on Smoke Season 2, here’s how to watch Season 1 of Lehane’s thrilling series.
