Rock icon Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76. An official cause of death has yet to be announced.

The Osbourne family announced the news in the following statement on Tuesday to both The Sun and The Guardian:

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Along with his Hall of Fame music career, the Black Sabbath frontman memorably starred on The Osbournes, a popular MTV reality series that featured the domestic lives of Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne, from 2002 to 2005.
