Sean “Diddy” Combs’ personal chef is not happy with the verdict in his trial. Here’s what she said after the jurors shared their decision.

This week, jurors reached a verdict in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial. After weeks of witness testimony and arguments from the prosecution and defense, the jury only found Combs guilty on two of the five counts against him. He initially faced life in prison, but will now likely spend significantly less time behind bars. His former chef, who says she witnessed and experienced abuse while working for Combs, has expressed her terror at the verdict.

Combs’ sentencing is currently set to take place on Oct. 3. Prosecutors have indicated that they think he should spend 51 to 63 months, while the defense will push for 21 to 27 months. He will receive credit for the time he has already served at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

His former personal chef, Jourdan Atkinson, sent letters to the judge asking him to deny Combs bail. She alleged that he abused her while she was working for him. She also said she witnessed him abuse his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

“I’d like to express how terrifying this whole ordeal has been for me personally,” she wrote to the judge, per People. “This past year and a half has been traumatizing. This verdict is devastating.”

She noted that she fears for her safety after his release from prison.

“I want to be clear, as a victim, as a former employee of Sean Combs, I do not feel safe,” she said in an Instagram video, adding, “I am extremely traumatized. I do not know where to go from here.”

She joins a chorus of people who have expressed their disappointment in the verdict.
